Scope and agreement
Photographic assignments are agreed individually with Jeremy Dacho / Artlook. The offer and contract define coverage, fees, image count, editing, usage and delivery. An enquiry alone is not a booking.
Coverage and visual approach
Coverage applies to the agreed period. Short operational breaks, equipment checks and image review may be necessary. Representative images and the planned visual approach are discussed before booking. Heavy or AI portrait effects are used only if discussed beforehand.
Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed once the contract has been sent and confirmed. The 50% deposit is due 7 days after the contract is sent; the balance is due 7 days after image delivery. A tentative pre-contract date hold can be replaced by another client’s confirmed booking. An enquiry alone does not reserve a date.
Rescheduling carries no additional rescheduling fee; the new date must be agreed. Cancellation and late-payment conditions are stated in the contract, subject to applicable rights. Payment by bank transfer or PayPal is available in EUR or USD by agreement; PayPal currency conversion and the applicable tax treatment are stated in the offer.
Delivery, corrections and files
The delivery period begins at 09:00 on the following business day. Monday–Saturday count, including public holidays; Sunday does not. The event minimum has a firm 7-business-day deadline. Other offers specify a firm deadline of 7 or 14 business days and the actual due date. Image count alone does not change that agreed deadline.
First previews are provided within 24 hours of that start. For the event minimum, one photograph is shown in four editing styles so you can choose the look. Once confirmed, further style changes are charged separately.
Base editing covers colour, brightness and crop. The minimum event package excludes retouching. Where included in your offer, you select 20 images for retouching, including skin cleanup, object removal or body shaping within the agreed scope. Retouches take 3 business days after selection; if your selection is delayed, we reconfirm the schedule around other assignments.
One correction round covers all delivered images within the agreed scope and confirmed style. A second round, additional editing and later style changes are extra work at EUR 50/h. The quotation specifies which retouches are included and the deadline for requesting corrections.
Included delivery: full-resolution JPEG, nominally 6000 × 4000 px (or portrait orientation), sRGB, 4:4:4 chroma and no watermark. Deliberate crops may change dimensions. Optimised web/social files and other export packages cost extra. RAW files and unselected photographs are separately negotiable.
Client access and archiving
Client online access lasts 30 days. The delivery notice must state the actual access dates. A reminder is planned 7 days before expiry. After expiry, files are no longer accessible online. Delivered work and selected originals remain in my local archive; unselected images are deleted 30 days after delivery. Please save your delivered files locally.
Usage and publication
Business clients: the standard licence covers the client’s website and organic social posts for six months. The minimum event offer specifies 180 days. Paid advertising, promotional campaigns, derivative works and other uses require a separate agreement. The quotation confirms the applicable period, start date, territory and credit.
Private clients: unlimited personal use, without distribution rights; wider rights can be negotiated. Client usage rights and permission for my public portfolio are agreed separately. For children, unpublished campaigns, portraits and weddings, I ask for publication permission first.
The photographer remains the author. Delivery does not automatically grant portfolio publication permission. The permission-recording process still needs to be established; no new image is cleared for publication by this intake.
Cancellation and unresolved policy
The owner proposes retaining the 50% deposit on cancellation. This is recorded for review and is not adopted here as an unconditional non-refundable rule. Late-payment fees, consumer withdrawal, illness, emergency and assignment-failure arrangements require a specific reviewed policy. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
