A quieter approach
Attention before excess. A photograph should have a reason to be there.
Observe
On a dance floor, first read the movement and the light. Understanding the room helps the photographs keep its atmosphere.
Direct with care
In a portrait session, a small cue can help a person settle. Direction should support expression, rather than take it over.
Edit deliberately
An establishing frame, a close moment and a quiet detail can tell more together than repeated versions of the same image.
A memory from within
I position myself close to the action so a photograph can feel like a memory from your own perspective. I observe before directing; natural expression takes priority over a perfectly staged group. Colour and editing follow how I experienced the scene. Heavy or AI portrait filters are discussed beforehand.
Light, space and the moment
In my event photographs, available light and the distance to people shape the frame. The published selection offers examples of that approach.
